1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

I have added all images and finishing touches to my front cover. I have used the images from my original finished product as posters and side images and retaken my main image.
I felt that the DPS looked fairly plain on the photo side, so I added a pop style coloured shadow on the picture. I did this by duplicating the photo layer, selecting the images and then using the paint tool to fill them in blue. I then resized them using the transform > scale tool to make them look more shadow like.

3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Hearst UK - Just another WordPress site

A company like Hearst Magazines could publish my magazine because they publish a lot of womens magazines however not for the younger audience, therefore Daisy would have no competition within the same company. In the early fifties Hearst launched Vanity Fair aimed at younger women, and in 1955 the company launched She, with the same target audience.
Most of the magazines that Hearst publish are health or real life magazines, so investing in a new genre may make more money for the company.
